VYPE: Tell us your favorite sports memory?
Mitchell: My favorite sports memory was my freshman year of varsity football. It was my first official game as a starter and I will never forget that memory! We were playing bartlesville away and I ended that game with 7 tackles as a freshman.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Mitchell: What I love most about my team, and my teammates is that no matter what we go through on and off the field we always have each other’s back through the thick and thin. It’s a culture here. If we call you our brother we mean it. No matter what happens, good or bad we always build each others confidence up to get better. And play the next down.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life?
Mitchell: One person who has been a big influence to me on my journey would have to be my dad. He’s always there for me whenever I need him and is never there to judge me whenever I need him. He gives me the best advice on everything. One thing my dad and mom have always preached to me about is not only giving it your all whenever you’re on the field but also In the class room! My parents give me this drive everyday to be the best version of myself I can be on and off the field, and as a student athlete I take my part, and my role in that serious. God gave me a great gift and I’m blessed to be able to put that on display week in and week out. My parents are definitely my biggest influences in life.
