3 Questions with Gavin Read of Sapulpa High School
Gavin Read is a junior at Sapulpa High School and a member of the varsity basketball team. Playing the position of guard, Read is known for his tough play on defense. Coach Rickey Bruner Jr. said of Read, “Super great kid that gets along with everyone and is just fun to be around! High character person with great core values!”
VYPE: Do you have a role model or another athlete you look up to?
Read: I’d have to say Kyrie Irving who plays for the Brooklyn Nets.
VYPE: What is your favorite pre and post-game meals?
Read: That’s easy, Chick-fil-A for sure.
VYPE: If you could star in any TV show or movie, what would it be and what role would you play?
Read: It would be a movie called Amateur and I would play the main role.
