
Sapulpa High School senior Kaiden Ashton is a four-year starter under head coach Steve Irvine. According to coach Irvine, Ashton has never missed a game.
“Kaiden is a four-year starter for us and has never missed a game. For his career he is hitting .400, has signed with NEO and is a two-time Oklahoma State Games participant. He’s a centerfielder with speed, power and average.”
We wanted to know more about Ashton and his thoughts on playing in his final year of prep baseball.
VYPE: Kaiden, how long have you played the game of baseball?
Ashton: I’ve played baseball since I was three years old.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Ashton: They are all brothers to me. I would do anything for them and I’m sure they feel the same way back.
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at your school?
Ashton: The relationship I have built with all of the students.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Ashton: Going fishing with my friends.
