Brady Powers is ready to help the Chieftains assert themselves as a contender.
Sapulpa head soccer coach Kenny Kinzer is excited to return seniors like Keefer Garden, Trey Hale, and Cade Stevenson. He’s also excited about some of his underclassmen like Brady Powers.
Power is a freshman midfielder with tremendous speed and someone who can make an impact immediately. His speed will help create opportunities.
We caught up with the freshman just before the season got underway.
VYPE: Brady, how long have you played the game of soccer?
Powers: I’ve played soccer for ten years.
VYPE: Even though you are a freshman, you have had time to get to know your teammates. What do you like most about this group?
Powers: It’s just one gigantic family that I love playing soccer with.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Sapulpa?
Powers: I get to play with my friends and represent Sapulpa.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Powers: I like to play video games and hanging out with family and friends.
