

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team?
Maribel: A goal for myself as a sophomore is get my name out to colleges and hopefully get a scholarship to play college ball. As a team, I’m hoping this year we win state in Class 5A.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Maribel: Spending the summer at the lake with family.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?
Maribel: My favorite teacher and coach is Mrs. Arundell because even when you do bad in class or in a game, she will give you good advice.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Maribel: My favorite athletic memory was when Arundell put me in goal as a keeper after I said it as a joke and got scored on.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Maribel: Bella Leep has left a big impression on me because she is always positive on and off the field.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Maribel: Alex Terrones!
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Maribel: I would take my cousin, Kamila, to go hiking at Grand Canyon.
VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Maribel: I would buy a mini horse or donkey.
