
VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team?
Jack: My personal goal this year is to be a .400 plus hitter and a better player and person; and team goal is to win state.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Jack: The most fun that I have had this past year was going to Seagrove, Florida with my friends.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher or coach from any grade and why?
Jack: My favorite coach is Coach Riley Tincher, because he has helped me to become a better person and baseball player.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Jack: My favorite athletic memory was when I went 8-for-8 with four home runs, in one day.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Jack: The teammate who has made the biggest impression on me has been Andrew Merrihew, because whenever I would make an error or mess up, he was always there to support and encourage me.
VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?
Jack: I can’t think of anyone who has the best impression of any of my Coach’s, but Colby Degraffenried always says the funniest things during games, along with always having a positive attitude.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Jack: I would vacation in Bora Bora with my friend Levi.
VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?
Jack: With $500, I would buy a new Wilson A2000 catcher’s mitt and a few Bruce Bolt batting gloves.
