When coach Calip said Emmie Osborn was a senior she expected big things from this season, we took notice. A strong, physical presence for Sapulpa, coach Calip said no one will match her natural strength and size. We stole a few moments from her busy schedule to give Osborn a quick Senior Shoutout!
VYPE: Emmalee, you’re a senior so let’s have some fun with some of these questions. What is the first thing you will do after you graduate?
Osborn: I plan on going to college to become a Dental Hygienist.
VYPE: Favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Osborn: Mrs. Jones my 1st grade teacher, she took a lot of time to help every student to make sure they really learned the subject.
VYPE: Funniest thing you’ve seen or heard during a game?
Osborn: During warmups my teammate (Mykira Edwards) ran to rebound a ball and broke her glasses.
VYPE: Favorite memory of high school? Doesn’t have to be sports related.
Osborn: My sophomore year which was before COVID-19.
VYPE: Who will show up to your ten-year reunion as the most successful person of your class?
Osborn: Brooklyn Berry or Jaselyn Rossman.
VYPE: In a few words, describe what it is like being a student-athlete at your school?
Osborn: Hard work but the teachers are really good at working with you during our seasons.
