Sapulpa baseball standout Evan Casey has been selected to the OBCA All State Large East team.
“Evan has tremendous athleticism and speed, he has been a staple at the top of our order for 4 years and making the all-state team only felt right for the way he would end his career,” Sapulpa baseball head coach Steven Irvine said. “Evan stole 30 bases this year and hit .434 while scoring 32 runs.”
Casey is committed to continue his baseball career at NOC Enid next year.
“Evan Casey is the smartest baseball player I’ve coached in my 8 years,” Irvine stated. “His base running and defensive skill sets are special, and we know he will be very successful at the next level.”
