Getting to Know Sapulpa Cross Country’s Kyle Haught – Presented by Tulsa Bone &Joint

VYPE: What are your personal goals this year?

Kyle: To grow as a person, get faster, and meet new people.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Kyle: Fly fishing and catching trout in Rocky Mountain National Park.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Kyle: Angela Goodwin, she was my eighth grade English teacher. She helped me understand English better and overall I really enjoyed her class.

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Kyle: Winning every cross country race when I was in the eighth grade as a team. This is a first for Sapulpa Athletics!

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Kyle: Mason Quinton, he always set a high expectation for himself and he wanted to win.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Kyle: Funniest and most random topics come from Clayton McCullough.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Kyle: I would take two of my very best friends to the Amazon rainforest.

VYPE: If you had $500 and had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Kyle: I would go buy a shotgun for duck season.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Kyle: Thank you Coach D for believing in me, thank you Coach Lusk for providing me encouragement and thank you Momma and Daddy for always pushing me to be a better person!
